Ingredients
- 3 dried bay leaves (or 5–6 fresh bay leaves)
- 4–5 fresh thyme sprigs (or 1 tsp dried thyme)
- 2 cups (500 ml) water
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the bay leaves and thyme.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let the tea steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain into a mug.
- Add honey and lemon juice if desired, then stir and serve warm.
Serving Suggestion
Enjoy 1 cup once or twice daily as a comforting herbal tea.
