Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 liter (4 cups) water
- 1 lemon, sliced or juiced
- 1–2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- A few fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher or teapot.
- Add the lemon juice or slices.
- Sweeten with honey if desired and add mint for extra freshness.
- Serve warm or chilled.
