Hibiscus Tea for Heart Health & Healthy Circulation

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns (or allspice berries)
  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, added after brewing)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers, cinnamon sticks, and black peppercorns.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and let the tea steep for another 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into a cup or pitcher.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly before stirring in the honey.
  7. Serve warm, or chill and serve over ice.
