Clove Tea: A Warm Herbal Drink for Everyday Wellness

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • 5–6 whole cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick (optional)
  • 1 thin slice of fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, add after brewing)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the cloves, and if using, the cinnamon stick and ginger.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and let the tea steep for another 5 minutes.
  5. Strain into a cup.
  6. Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired, then serve warm.

  • Drink 1 cup once daily, preferably after a meal or in the evening.
  • Avoid consuming large amounts of clove tea every day for extended periods.
